The story behind my archived

pages .... that were sent via

email over the past 6-8 years.

Welcome to my archived page of Susan's Daily Dose. I began publishing my pages on the web on August 9th, 2010. Prior to that I sent them via e-mail. Please read the following. A very nice person named Sheila offered to put my  e-mail sent  Doses on her website. She felt they should be published for everyone to see. She began uploading them one by one, day after day, month after month. I could not thank her enough. On July 28th, 2008, I received what was the last email from her to date. If you care to read, it is below in smaller type, otherwise advance on down.

First I am so glad you are happy with what I did with your page! Let me tell you a little about me. I am a stay at home grandmother. I keep my 3 granddaughters, Krista 11, Kalysta 7 and Peyton who is 8 months. The only real obligations I have are with my church. I attend service on Sunday, bible study on Wednesday and the occasional volunteer activity. I have loads of free time to spend doing the things I love to do such as sewing, reading and playing on my computer. In truth, it does not take a great deal of time converting your pages to HTML at all. I think I spent about an hour coding and then uploading the page to my site, but that included the time I spent trying to figure out how to add the music to the background. I think I could actually get a page coded and uploaded in about 20 minutes or so. I am not saying I could get all 200 pages done in a week but if I did a page or 2 every day I could probably get them all up in about 2 months then I could add new pages as you send them through! I have unlimited space available and I could even protect the images from being downloaded. And finally about bandwidth...I am not sure what amount I currently have available or if visitors viewing the archives would cause the amount I have to be exceeded, but what's say we deal with that in the event it occurs? I believe that what you share with us in our inboxes each day is such an unselfish act on your part and brings, in no small way, a little bit of sunshine to so many. I would be honored to be able to help you in this small way as a way of saying thank you for the time you spend compiling Susan's Daily Dose. So............Are you ready to get started!!!! I am!!! Start sending me pages!!!!

Sheila

I have tried numerous times thru out the past years to contact her. I have left messages in the guest book for her or family to please contact me as I needed to know what had happened and why all of a sudden I no longer heard from her. I feel something has happened to her and feel sad and so helpless being unable to contact her or her family. For as long as I live, I will wonder what happened to her. I have supplied the link below to visit the archived site. Without hearing from her I have no idea how long this site will be active or how long she may have signed up for her account with her web host. If for some reason you visit and you are not taken to her website, then you will know it is no longer available. I was able to find the earliest dated page of June 4, 2004 for her to publish. Some days are missing only because they were not saved. All available pages were published aside for what I have continued to save for her over the past several years.

Here is the link to my e-mailed Daily Doses dating back to June 4, 2004 to December 26, 2008. Like I said, I have no idea how long this website will be active and I do not check it daily. If you should find it no longer available, please let me know.
